Sinopsis

Con el envejecimiento se presenta una mayor probabilidad de padecer deterioro cognitivo, trastorno en el que se debilita el rendimiento de los diferentes dominios cognitivos (memoria, lenguaje, atención, funciones ejecutivas, etc.). La presente cartilla ha sido elaborada con el fin de contribuir a la prevención y al cuidado de los adultos mayores con y sin deterioro cognitivo. Para ello, se han formulado una serie de actividades estructuradas, a manera de estimulación cognitiva, las cuales pretenden mantener activo el funcionamiento mental y prevenir su deterioro.
